Tool Designer - West Sussex - up to £45,000 + Benefits - Ref 1807 I am currently recruiting for a Tool Designer to work for a key client of mine based in West Sussex. Salary up to £45,000 + Benefits. The organisation has been in operation for over 20 years with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries including Hygiene, Aerospace, Lighting & Marine. To support growth within the organisation, they are now looking to appoint a Tool Designer on a permanent basis. In this role as a Tool Designer, your primary responsibility will be to adapt and design new tools specifically for Plastic Injection Moulding machines. You will be working as part of a team of 12 in the tool room, where you will be adapting historical designs to allow for additional features of their clients' products. As part of the role, you will also create and adapt BOMs and picking lists to match the new designs. The tools you will be working on will range in size from 50KG to 2 Tonnes in weight. Ideal Requirements: A minimum of 5 years experience as a Tool Designer Experience designing tools for Plastic Injection Moulding SolidWorks experience This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Tool Designer to work for a stable business that has a great personal feel.
