Role

A well-established independent aircraft maintenance facility in Oxford is seeking an experienced Planning and Technical Services Manager to join their growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a modern facility specializing in high-end corporate aircraft maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning function for aircraft maintenance operations, managing work instructions and technical documentation. Oversee the processing and coordination of maintenance work orders to ensure efficient resource allocation. Interface with maintenance teams and customers to optimize workflow and ensure quality standards. Manage technical documentation and regulatory compliance requirements. Support continuous improvement of maintenance planning processes.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years direct aircraft maintenance experience. Strong technical background in corporate aircraft maintenance. Proven experience in maintenance planning and technical services. Excellent understanding of maintenance programs including MSG 3. Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Technical Knowledge Requirements

In-depth understanding of aircraft systems and components. Experience with corporate aviation operations. Knowledge of maintenance program structures and regulatory requirements. Ability to review and optimize maintenance schedules. Experience in technical document creation and management.

Package

Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience. Monday to Friday working pattern. Comprehensive benefits package. Modern, well-equipped facility. Stable, growing company.

Additional Information

Full-time, permanent position. Must be eligible to work in the UK. Previous experience in corporate aviation highly desirable.
