Focus of the role: As an Azure DevOps Engineer you will support and enhance our Azure infrastructure and modern workplace solutions. You will handle cloud migrations, manage Azure services, and support VDI environments. You'll collaborate with clients to troubleshoot issues, implement Azure best practices, and drive improvements in our hybrid cloud offerings. Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of workload and infrastructure migrations to Azure, ensuring smooth transitions. Design, implement, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments, PaaS solutions, and other cloud infrastructure technologies. Ensure seamless integration of hybrid infrastructures, bridging Azure cloud with on-premise systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and align cloud architecture strategies with organizational goals. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to both Azure and on-premise infrastructures. Implement security best practices for cloud environments. Provide expert guidance on cloud adoption, Azure infrastructure and cost efficiency. Person, Skills & Experience: Experience of utilising Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsets such as Bicep, Terraform, Chef or Ansible to deploy and configure Azure (or equivalent public cloud) resources. Experience of utilising DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) or GitHub for CI/CD pipeline integration, particularly in relation to automating infrastructure deployment pipelines. Demonstrated experience with Azure migrations, including hands-on expertise with PaaS, IaaS, and VDI technologies. Knowledge of on-premise infrastructure components (e.g., networking, servers, storage) and their integration with cloud platforms. Proficiency in managing key Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and PaaS offerings. Proven ability to build, manage and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and effectively convey technical concepts to stakeholders. Good understanding of Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework, with the ability to apply its principles to cloud transformation projects. Why BCN?
