The Opportunity:
The role is supporting a cross-functional team with architectural best practices and design patterns, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust data protection and governance. You will help define technology standards and best practices on behalf of a specialist consultancy for a prominent government agency (end-client).
N.B. Candidates will have or be willing to undergo a basic level of security clearance prior to starting the role. Skills and Experience:
Experience and understanding of architecture patterns and concepts for enterprise-scale solutions (e.g., Accounting for Integration, Security, Scalability considerations, etc.). Experienced in architecting enterprise-grade solutions using Azure cloud services, providing robust data protection and governance practices within Azure. Familiar with Azure architecture best practices and standards to design cost-effective, performant, and scalable Azure architectures, with commercial exposure to the Azure Machine Learning platform and associated services and deployments. Able to write readable, performant, and scalable code following common design patterns and SOLID principles, adhering to cloud-first principles, and making best use of cloud-native services and economies of scale. The ability to define the required technology standards and champion best practices within projects to empower other developers to produce production-ready code within defined governance and guardrails.
