Purpose of the Role : This sales role within the B2B Merchandise Sales Team focuses on delivering exceptional merchandise solutions for a designated client group across various motorsport series. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial pitch to delivery, supporting operational, logistical, and administrative aspects as required. The role also contributes to the activation of partner campaigns, leveraging licensed and custom merchandise to align with client objectives and KPIs. Role Dimensions:

Reports to the B2B Senior Manager and works collaboratively with senior team members and the wider merchandise and partnerships teams.

This position spans McLaren Racing (including F1, FE, XE, IndyCar, and esports) and McLaren Automotive dealerships, providing a dynamic and varied remit. It is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving merchandise success across global motorsport stages.

Key Responsibilities : Sales & Partner Management : Drive merchandise sales to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Present tailored, data-driven sales pitches to partners that align with their business goals.

Build strong relationships with sponsors, internal teams, and external suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.

Identify growth opportunities and provide insights to expand brand reach and revenue streams.

Operational Excellence : Coordinate with the Operations Executive to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Monitor purchasing, invoicing, and logistics to maintain quality and cost efficiency.

Update sales trackers and monthly reports for accurate financial oversight.

Liaise with Finance to resolve invoicing or reporting queries.

Creative Campaign Support : Collaborate with the partnerships team to deliver integrated merchandise campaigns.

Ensure merchandise solutions align with McLaren's brand expectations and partner marketing objectives.

Key Skills : Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficient in prioritisation, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a resourceful mindset.

Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.

Key Attributes : Proven sales success with a customer-centric approach.

A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.

Creative, with an eye for high-quality merchandise solutions that enhance partner activation.

Organized and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Experience : Familiarity with Salesforce commerce and order management systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities with flexibility in working hours and practices.

Comfortable in a high-intensity, deadline-driven environment aligned with racing schedules.
