Baby Room Leader - Adventurers Day Nursery
We're looking for a Baby Room Leader to join our friendly team at Adventurers Day Nursery in Fulford, York. Are you: enthusiastic, caring and have a passion for working with children? able to read endless books and sing nursery rhymes all day long? ready to act out your favourite book character and make up stories? able to drink endless cups of role play tea, eat plastic pizza and play dress up? willing to get messy with an unlimited supply of paint and craft resources? Do you have: a suitable Level 3 Childcare qualification or higher? previous experience working with babies? sound knowledge of the EYFS and ability to provide exciting and stimulating activities to promote learning and development? strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a small team effectively? knowledge of Health and Safety and Safeguarding requirements? Your responsibilities will include: working alongside the Managers to provide high quality childcare and education for the children in our care implementing the requirements of our policies and procedures leading our baby room and providing support for a small team of practitioners maintaining strong relationships with our parents and families through good communication skills promoting inclusive practice across all areas Additional benefits: lunch provided on-site parking on-going training opportunities closure during Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year competitive rates of pay We're committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, which is reflected in our recruitment procedures.
