An innovative technology company is seeking a

Cloud Back-End Software Engineer

with expertise in

Python

and

AWS

to join their growing development team. This role involves designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based systems that support high-performance data processing and real-time monitoring solutions. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

scalable

cloud-based microservices using AWS technologies (Lambda, ECS, EC2). Implement robust back-end services and

RESTful APIs

using

Python . Work with

relational

(MySQL, PostgreSQL) and

non-relational

(DynamoDB, Redis) databases to manage and process large datasets. Optimise and enhance system performance, scalability, and security. Deployment & Infrastructure

Implement and manage

containerised applications

using

Docker

and ECS. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintain

CI/CD pipelines . Apply best practices for

infrastructure as code (IaC)

and cloud security. Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to ensure seamless system integration. Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain high-quality technical documentation. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to ongoing improvements. Key Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on

back-end development

and

cloud-based solutions . Proven experience with

Python

and

AWS services

(Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, RDS). Hands-on experience with

Docker

and container orchestration (ECS/Kubernetes). Strong understanding of

microservices architecture

and API development. Experience with

DevOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git). Knowledge of

serverless architecture

and event-driven design patterns. Experience with

big data technologies

and NoSQL databases. Understanding of

cloud security best practices . Previous experience in

data-driven industries
