Back of House Manager focuses on manage procedures to ensure the successful smooth operation of all back of house catering areas.

What the role involves

  • Manage procedures to ensure the successful smooth operation of all back of house catering areas.
  • Supporting the overseeing of the organisation and cleanliness of all kitchens and back-of-house areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
  • To ensure invoices are checked and logged, highlighting discrepancies to suppliers and on-site management accountant.
  • Coordinating stock control, including ordering, delivery, rotation, storage, monthly stock takes, and updating inventory and pricing records.
  • Ensuring all invoices are checked and processed correctly following company policy.
  • Monitoring the practice of all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and requirements within area of responsibility.
