We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our Payments & Finance team to help us build the best credit card and payment products for small businesses. Payments and Finance team (PAF) is responsible for a number of exciting initiatives to enhance Capital On Tap’s offerings for both the inflow and outflow of funds. Having rebuilt our Repayments system from the ground up in 2021, our focus is on enhancing the rest of our Payments ecosystem to also be vendor-agnostic and globally scalable. This includes: Integrating and expanding repayment options through new vendor partnerships. Rebuilding parts of our Cards domain to offer capabilities that delight our customers, give them more control, and allow them to transact even more securely. Enhancing our internal systems that initiate bank transfer payments, to pave the way for some fancy new product features. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll build robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology. From the first line of code to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement - you’ll own the SDLC. Teamwork makes the dream work - you’ll partner with Product Managers, QA’s, Site Reliability/Platform Engineers and fellow Software Engineers. You’ll build bulletproof unit and integration tests to keep our software sharp and our users happy. Bugs happen. When they do, you’ll be ready to troubleshoot and tweak as needed. You’ll bridge the gap between tech speak and business goals, ensuring everyone’s on the same page and moving forward together. Our Tech Stack Backend: C#, .Net, .Net Core. Frontend: React, JavaScript. Mobile: Flutter, Dart. Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB. Cloud: Azure & GCP. We’re Looking For 3+ years hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core, SQL Server. Good testing practices, in both Unit and Integration testing. Good understanding of database technologies. Experience in using Agile development practices.
