Salary: From £56,000 dependant on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

\n
    \n
  • As a Business Relationship Manager you’ll provide engagement with the business, ensuring a close relationship exists between the Lines of Business and Functions
  • \n
  • Understand business strategic direction, roadmaps, requirements, and challenges
  • \n
  • Capture business demand and support/ facilitate business definition of requirements
  • \n
  • Understand the forward view of business demand to feed into medium-term IM&T planning, e.g. contract technology release schedules
  • \n
  • Assure and provide oversight of all IM&T delivery and presenting to Stakeholders of all levels within the business
  • \n
  • Provide an IM&T interface for all IT matters – the customer face of IM&T the point of escalation for IM&T partners internally and externally
  • \n
\n

Your skills and experiences:

\n

Essential:

\n
    \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to apply skills and knowledge to a wide range of complex problems
  • \n
  • Demonstrable experience within a business relationship management role
  • \n
  • Previous experience from a Manufacturing, Defence, It discipline or a large corporate environment
  • \n
\n

Desirable:

\n
    \n
  • Qualification or equivalent in (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) ITIL, or extensive relevant experience
  • \n
  • Application of Business Relationship Management (BRM)/Programme Engagement across multi-disciplinary organisations
  • \n
\n

The IM&T Team:

\n

This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to represent IM&T in a leadership role within numerous functional area’s and programmes (Astute, Dreadnought and SSNA) engaging with the business at a strategic level and influencing the IM&T related direction . You will be working in partnership with this business area to ensure effective relationships between a number of Functions and IM&T are maintained, Strategic Investments are planned, and Critical Service issues are addressed as priority
