Responsible for day to day supervision, preparation and service of all bakery and pastry items, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times to the standards required by the hotel. To ensure that strict hygiene controls are kept in all kitchen areas when under your supervision. To deputise and ensure the smooth running of the food operation, including the maintenance and cleaning of the kitchen. ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in a similar role and environment The ability to lead and give clear directions in the absence of the head chef or sous chef Flexibility to work varied hours Demonstrable skills and creativity in all aspects of pastry, to include sugar work, tempering chocolate, plated desserts, banqueting and afternoon tea fancies and canapés Passionate to develop a career within luxury hospitality ABOUT CORINTHIA
