This post is part of the team of Orthopaedic Practitioners within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department providing a casting and splinting service in support of Fracture, Orthopaedic and other Clinicians and Departments within the Trust. To assist the Orthopaedic Practitioners in the delivery of a high standard of expertise in casting and plastering techniques, off the shelf orthotics, basic wound care which includes removal of suture and staples, as well as providing patients with relevant information and documentation to support treatment. Education/ Qualifications
Oral Hygiene/Care Diploma. Impression taking or intra-oral scanning training. Skills/ Abilities
Understanding of specialist equipment and supplies for Orthodontic service. Experience/ Knowledge
Dental Practice - primary care experience. Oral Health/Oral Care. NHS Hospital experience. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
