We are looking to recruit a Community Staff Nurse to join our enthusiastic and innovative School Nursing team. We welcome applicants who are trained nurses with experience in working with children and families as well as newly qualified nurses who have a keen interest in School Health. Applicants should be committed to team working and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team of school health staff. Main duties of the job

The post holder will work within their allocated district supported by the School Nurse to assess the health needs of individual children and the school population as a whole. They will proactively address factors affecting health to ensure that children and young people achieve the best possible outcomes. Minimum requirements

The successful candidates must have: Nursing qualification and on the NMC register Experience of working in the community or in a Paediatric post and knowledge of child development, health promotion, public health, and safeguarding children would be an advantage but not essential.
