We currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated, pro-active, UK part-qualified accountant to work as a Management Accountant. As a team, we are continuously seeking to improve the quality of financial information provided to our many stakeholders and are looking for a candidate who can help improve our processes. In particular, we need people who can think beyond traditional roles and work with colleagues in other disciplines.

Main Duties of the Job

You will work closely with senior managers and directors within the corporate division, providing day-to-day and strategic advice. In addition, you will prepare month-end accounts, forecasts, and budget setting for the division.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities

The main requirements of this role are: To support Trust staff with accurate, timely, and appropriate financial and performance information for decision making and performance measurement. To provide accurate and timely budget reports to corporate budget holders and assist them with financial advice and support in the delivery of sustainable financial balance. Investigate complex financial enquiries, providing assistance and advice as required. Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

AAT qualified or CCAB part-qualified. Experience

Desirable Criteria

Experience of working in NHS Finance. Management Accounts Experience
