Our Children's nursing team is expanding, led by our Director of Nursing for Child Health. Main Duties of the Job

The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs of patients, planning programmes of care, implementation, and evaluation of these programmes without direct supervision. You will assist with education and supervision of learners, and at times be expected to be in charge of the ward/shift, supervising and coordinating other staff as appropriate, while developing yourself and others professionally. Person Specification

Education/Qualifications

RSCN, RN (Child Branch) qualification and registration with NMC with at least 6 months post-registration experience. Skills/Abilities

Able to work well under pressure, demonstrating a calm and resilient approach. Member of external national forums e.g., RCN children's forums. Experience/Knowledge

A collaborative team member who role models excellent care and compassion both within and outside the Trust for Children's Nursing. Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service will be necessary to check for any previous criminal convictions. Salary: £34,521 to £41,956 per annum inclusive.
