Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch)
Pay Rate: £18 - £21 per hour (via Umbrella)
Contract: 3-month role, ASAP start (Feb 2025)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT) for a locum position with our key client - an NHS Hospital Outpatients Service in Surrey. The role is part-time, covering Mondays and Tuesdays, with shifts from 9:00am to 5:30pm. This is an ASAP start and the position is expected to last for 3 months.
While hospital experience is not required, candidates must be qualified as an ACT. The service will consider applicants with community pharmacy experience who meet the qualifications for the ACT role.
Key Responsibilities:
Accuracy check dispensed medications in an outpatient setting
Support pharmacy team with day-to-day operational duties
Ensure compliance with NHS standards and protocols
Assist in the smooth running of the pharmacy service
Requirements:
Qualified Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT)
Available for part-time shifts (Mondays and Tuesdays)
Previous experience in community pharmacy is acceptable
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and independently
