An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, dynamic and aspiring band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Frome Community Rehabilitation service in the Mendip Neighbourhood. The post would suit a newly qualified professional. The successful post holder would be supported in the community to work with a team of Occupational Therapists, Pharmacist tech, rehabilitation assistants and physio apprentice across the Mendip Neighbourhood. Our bases are Frome, Shepton Mallett and West Mendip. The post holder would work with patients in their own homes or on a community ward providing rehabilitation and assisting patients back to their baseline where possible. We offer regular supervision, training and an offer to join the trusts preceptorship as well as an opportunity to see our falls and frailty, neurology clinics and balance and safety groups in action. Desirable Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Experience Essential Experience in an NHS community hospital or community setting at undergraduate or postgraduate level. Knowledge and application of current best practice in rehabilitation Occupational Therapy. Desirable Acquired a specific Physiotherapy related experience beyond undergraduate requirements.
