We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, adaptable, and hardworking individual with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to join our dedicated and encouraging team who are the North Region Hub for the Reserves Occupational Health Team, part of the new Defence Healthcare Recovery Group (DHRG) within Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC). The North Region Hub is based in Catterick Garrison. The applicant must be well organised and have the ability to prioritise and manage a full workload whilst balancing business need. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering 37.5 hrs per week. Main duties of the job

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for supporting the DHRG Reserve Occupational Health practice maintain the delivery of safe and effective Occupational Health to the Reserve Forces to mandated standards. You will provide high-quality person-centred care which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity using advanced clinical knowledge that is evidence-based. Job responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to: Undertaking technical nursing observations and clinical measurements prior to military medicals and screening. This will involve working at weekends and weekday evenings as a matter of course, at a variety of medical facilities within DPHC North region. Administering vaccinations consistent with Military and national Guidelines and Patient Group Directions (PGDs). Supporting and assisting in assessing Reservists medical suitability for worldwide operational deployment. Registering/de-registering Reservists on Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMICP) summarise medical notes and document clinical procedures and scanning of all relevant documentations onto DMICP in accordance with current DMS policies and in line with local procedures. Supporting and assisting with the implementation of the practice development plan. Being a part of a nursing team providing Force Health Protection to Reservists prior to their mobilisation on deployment. Professional/ clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree/diploma level. Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services) £29,970 to £36,483 a year per annum, pro-rata for part time.
