An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Registered Nurse to join our supportive, professional team within the Inpatient Unit at Bolton Hospice. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care. 34.5 hours – 37.5 hours per week negotiable
(Dependent upon experience, unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)
The role covers a 24-hour, 7 day service and will therefore include weekends and rotation to night duty. Long day shifts and night shifts would be expected. The Role
As a Senior Staff Nurse working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide hands-on, person-centred care. Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach. What you need:
To apply, you must be a Registered General Nurse, who is enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for specialist palliative and end of life care. A recognised post-registration palliative care qualification is desirable, although you will be fully supported in the role if you have limited or no experience with the specialty.
