Ridge Ward at Watford General Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our dedicated team!

Whether you're a newly qualified nurse or have years of experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Please note you will need to have a registered NMC Pin and have passed your OSCE as we do not currently provide training for OSCE. If you do not have OSCE, your application will be rejected. Ridge Ward is a 29-bedded trauma and orthopaedic hip fracture unit, known for its positive work culture, supportive leadership, and focus on professional growth.

As a Staff Nurse on Ridge Ward, you’ll be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Your role will include: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for a variety of patients. Collaborating with doctors, specialists, and other team members to ensure holistic patient care. Providing emotional support to patients and families, ensuring they feel safe and informed. Ensuring high standards of hygiene, infection control, and safety at all times. About You:

Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin. Excellent communication skills and a caring, compassionate approach. Ability to work well in a team, adapting to the dynamic needs of the ward. Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
