The Junior Sister / Charge Nurse will actively participate and contribute to the management of the Clinical areas. They will act as a mentor – teaching and supervising junior staff and colleagues, including student nurses, healthcare support workers, medical staff and AHP’s. The Junior Sister / Charge Nurse will provide clinical expertise to the discipline of the clinical areas. To carry out 2 allergy testing clinics per week in Children’s Outpatients supporting the paediatric consultant. Working for our organisation

EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS

RSCN, RN (Child Branch) Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor Leadership/Quality Improvement Evidence of professional development- Interest in allergy testing. SKILLS/ ABILITIES

PILS/EPALS certified EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE

Experience as Senior Band 5 Nurse – has experience of taking charge on shift of the ward.
