Children's Speech & Language Therapist - Band 6 Full time and part time hours available Due to an ever-increasing demand for our services, Bromley Healthcare's Children's SLT Service is expanding our fantastic and supportive team. We can offer: In-service training and the opportunity to apply for external courses Regular whole-team CPD meetings and small clinical supervision groups Regular line management as well as ad-hoc support from colleagues Access to clinical specialists for specialist opinions and support Opportunities for career progression Admin support from our Care Co-ordination Centre Main duties of the job

· Develop and provide universal, targeted and specialist speech and language therapy services to patients with speech, language, and communication needs. · Provide assessment and therapy services to a mixed paediatric caseload with SLCN, including report writing and training opportunities for parents/carers. · Work with children with a variety of severe, additional, and complex needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Language Disorder. · Be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality services to the population of Bromley. Qualifications

Recognised speech & language therapy degree qualification or equivalent. Successful completion of RCSLT newly qualified competencies. Health Professions Council License to practice. Registered member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development. Experience

Evidence of developing responsibility for clinic and caseload management. Experience of working with other professionals relevant to client groups. Pre-school and school age experience. Specific Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, including observation, listening, and empathy. Well-developed analytical skills for case load management and assessment. Ability to transcribe speech phonetically.
