£25.00 - £26.00 P/H The radiography team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 General Radiographer with at least one year of UK experience to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic services and ensuring the best care for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including Fluoroscopy scans, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and obtaining informed consent. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure it functions correctly and safely. Assist in the initial interpretation of images and report significant findings to the supervising radiologist or clinician. Adhere to quality assurance protocols and health and safety regulations to maintain high standards of practice. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures, including consent forms and reports. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Provide guidance and support to junior radiographers, students, and support staff, fostering a positive learning environment. Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay up to date with advancements in radiography and imaging techniques. Requirements: A relevant degree in Radiography or a related field, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). A minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting, with experience in Fluoroscopy NHS or private in the UK. Proficiency in using imaging equipment and a solid understanding of radiographic techniques and safety protocols. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and to lead and supervise junior staff when required. Strong attention to detail to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging results.
