Assess referrals or request forms, and justify under radiographic regulations and locally agreed protocols. Prioritise patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality. Provide a high-quality diagnostic service whilst maintaining a safe working imaging environment. Help organise the patient workflow and liaise with a multi-disciplinary team. Ensure adherence to IR(ME)R 2017 across the department. You should have a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work, with exceptional organisational skills that will enable you to manage a varied workload ensuring safe clinical practices, whilst always demonstrating leadership and best practice. Important Requirements:
Degree level qualification or equivalent in Radiography. Full-time availability is desirable, but not essential. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Radiographer. At least 6 months NHS experience in the last 3 years. Practical experience in planning and delivering a wide range of radiotherapy techniques. Demonstrate a broad knowledge of radiography practice. Commitment to providing a high-quality, professional, caring service to all patients. Excellent administrative, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience of working as a team.
