Band 6 MMT Pharmacy Technician Hospital Experience:
Essential
Key Responsibilities: Work as part of the pharmacy team to provide effective dispensing and clinical services. Ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate preparation and supply of medicines to patients. Provide medication advice and support to the healthcare team, ensuring optimal use of medications. Assist in the management of patient medication therapy, ensuring compliance with protocols and procedures. Contribute to the pharmacy team's continuous improvement efforts and patient safety initiatives. Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and clinical guidelines.
Requirements: Prior hospital experience is essential. Must be a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician. Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy services, medication dispensing, and clinical pharmacy practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
