Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist with experience in Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions to join the team at Worthing General Hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing expert assessment and treatment to patients with MSK conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with MSK conditions. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve functional outcomes for patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care. Support and supervise junior staff and provide guidance to Occupational Therapy assistants. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards. Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives. Key Requirements: HCPC registered Occupational Therapist. Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience, with a focus on MSK conditions. Proven experience in a hospital setting, ideally in orthopaedics or MSK. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Ability to manage a complex caseload and prioritise effectively. Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
