London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardiac Catheter Labs for a Band 6 Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and friendly team. If you are enthusiastic, flexible, and passionate about cardiology, then this would be an ideal opportunity for you to join our team. The successful candidate will have cath lab experience at band 5 level. As the successful candidate, you will be expected to work across both Northwick Park and Ealing Hospital. Within these two sites, there are three Cardiac Catheter labs and a day care unit on each site. You will support the band 7 Clinical Nurse Managers across the sites to maintain and audit the quality standards for the areas and support with staff management. There are exciting changes happening across the two sites: Ealing Hospital's Cardiac Catheter Lab is newly refurbished and provides both inpatient and outpatient services for cardiac interventional and diagnostic procedures. At Northwick Park, one of the labs will be opening later in the evening, giving staff the opportunity to work more flexibly with different shift start and finish times. There is also going to be the introduction of weekend working as part of the substantive job, which will enable the introduction of unsocial hours into this role. We are also in the planning stage of providing a 24/7 service, which will enable the successful candidate to be part of an on-call rota for cath lab emergencies. Main Duties of the Job
Working within the cardiac cath labs and day cares to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. You will be trained to work in both the day care and the cardiac cath labs and be a scrub nurse for procedures. About Us
