Inpatient Job Description: The successful candidate will work as part of an inpatient neuro-rehabilitation team, providing specialist physiotherapy for stroke and neurological patients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, with the possibility of an extension beyond the initial 3-month period. Key Responsibilities: Cover a mixed caseload of patients with stroke/neurological conditions requiring neuro-therapy intervention in Epsom hospital. Independently assess and treat patients, using evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning to develop care plans. Interpret clinical and non-clinical information to diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment interventions. Reassess patients regularly to ensure treatments are effective and discharge plans are comprehensive. Coordinate interventions, providing education to patients, carers, and other professionals. Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records (POMR format) and produce comprehensive reports for referrers. Manage clinical risk for your caseload and seek guidance when required. Demonstrate advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic handling. Manage emotionally challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism. Experience working with adults with stroke and neurological conditions is essential. Essential Requirements: HCPC Registered Physiotherapist Minimum of 2 years' experience in stroke or neuro rehabilitation Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Experience working in an inpatient setting is desirable Why Apply?
