Starrycare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner to join our team at Burton CAMHS Cross Street Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, young people, and their families, providing vital mental health services in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality mental health assessments, interventions, and therapeutic support to children and adolescents with complex emotional and behavioral needs. Develop and implement evidence-based care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team. Offer risk assessments and crisis management plans to support the safety and well-being of patients. Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and service development activities. Liaise effectively with schools, social care, and other relevant professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care delivery. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional and legal standards. Requirements Professional Qualification : Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with relevant professional body registration (NMC/HCPC). Experience : Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in CAMHS or a similar mental health setting. Skills : Strong assessment, risk management, and therapeutic intervention skills. Knowledge of safeguarding practices and experience working with multi-agency teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, young people, and their families. Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively.
