An experienced practitioner would have the opportunity to work with the existing CNS team who carry out a varied role. We work in both hospital and community settings to offer nurse-led clinics in areas such as stable cirrhosis, Viral hepatitis, AILD, NAFLD, and specialty clinics such as treating hard-to-reach patients with hepatitis C or HBV and the rarer liver disease patients, as well as a clinic for newly discharged decompensated patients and nurse-led paracentesis.

You will need to be passionate about liver disease and have experience of hepatology nursing. Good communication skills are essential. You will be engaging key stakeholders, supporting the nursing team to deliver specialist hepatology nursing across secondary and primary care.
