Band 7 Occupational Therapist

Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate Occupational Therapist seeking a new role? Our NHS client seeks a locum Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join their team. The post is available to start as soon as possible until the 13 December 2024, offering full-time hours. The successful candidate will provide and receive complex information and effectively communicate this with relevant other professional colleagues to promote a multidisciplinary problem-solving approach for the care of acutely ill patients. Therapists applying for this role must have: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist A relevant degree/qualification within Occupational Therapy Knowledge of specialist equipment Experience of working within a similar NHS setting The ability to think outside the box Duties within this role will include: Managing a clinical caseload Writing accurate and detailed reports on patient progress Working as part of a multidisciplinary team Assessments and provision of hoists and slings Assess and treat patients who have been admitted for an amputation Previous experience working with patients in the acute setting is essential Previous experience working with vascular patients is required Why Pulse?
