About the Role:
A large acute NHS hospital in Hertfordshire is currently seeking a Band 7 Locum Pharmacist to join their team starting in February 2025. This role will involve working across three wards of the hospital, covering rehabilitation units without any dispensary duties.
Key Responsibilities: Provide pharmacy services across all 3 wards, working alongside another pharmacist. Support rehabilitation wards and units, ensuring high-quality patient care. No dispensary work involved. Med recs and drug histories.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30 mins lunch). 37.5 hours per week. Part-time work is unlikely to be considered.
Requirements: Ward experience is essential. Band 8a is unlikely to be available due to budget constraints. Locum pharmacist must be available for full-time hours.
Pay Rate: £27 - £31 per hour, depending on experience. PAYE DE payment method.
