Main area Nursing Grade Band 8a Contract Permanent Hours Full time - 37.5 hours per week Job ref 162-6699-KI Site Queen's Hospital Town Romford Salary £59,490 - £66,239 per annum inclusive Salary period Yearly Closing 29/12/2024 23:59 PEOPLE are at the HEART of everything we do We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated leader within the Sexual Health/contraception specialty. The post holder will be a visible nurse leader and provide day-to-day line management of a team of Sexual Health Nurses with support from the Operations Manager and Clinical Lead. To be dual trained in Contraception and Sexual Health running nurse-led clinics. To provide clinical nurse leadership for contraception, assessment, and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). To run independent LARC clinics including IUD/IUS. In conjunction with the Operations Manager and Clinical Lead, to lead the implementation and delivery of the clinical service. To lead on fully integrating nursing teams and ensuring all staff are dual trained in Contraception and Sexual Health. Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical leadership for the nursing element of the service. To ensure that service provision is appropriate and sensitive to the needs of clients/users. Person specification
Education/ Qualifications
RN registered with NMC DFSRH Teaching qualification Experience/ Knowledge
Experience of working in Nurse Led clinics Substantial experience in Sexual Health and working towards a senior role Experience of training nurses for DFSRN Barking, Havering, and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) uses TrustID identification technology to verify essential documents, such as passports and driving licenses.
