We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and proactive dietitian, with good clinical knowledge, communication, and team working skills to join our staff bank working alongside our Adult Acute Dietetic Team at the James Paget University Hospital on an as and when basis. You will provide cover to a range of wards including stroke, surgical, orthopaedic, respiratory, cardiology, and care of the elderly assessing and implementing treatment programmes providing nutrition support and working closely with the MDT to ensure patients are receiving the right nutrition during their stay with us. The post-holder may also have opportunities to cover outpatient clinics comprising of patients with a range of conditions including IBD, type 2 diabetes, coeliac disease, weight management, nutrition support, irritable bowel syndrome, neurological conditions, lipid modification, and oncology. All dietitians are actively involved in student training and host training to placement students from The University of Hertfordshire. You will be actively involved in these training programmes and in the development, implementation, and audit of patient care practices as part of clinical governance. About us
