All roles with the Bank are ad hoc (as and when) and may suit those already working part-time, with other commitments, or who want to work on a short-term basis. We can support Bank staff migration into a permanent role where there are vacancies. HPFT provides support for service users with mental health, learning disability, and children's and adolescent mental health problems. Applicants should have some experience of working in a healthcare setting, particularly within learning disability services.

Main duties of the job
The Postholder will: Maintain responsibility for a caseload of people with learning disabilities and health needs, providing a holistic approach to service user assessment, treatment, review, and management of packages of care. Ensure that the statutory requirements of the Mental Capacity Act are observed. Have the clinical skills relative to the delivery of care in the service. Have effective working relationships with other professionals within the service area, across the Strategic Business Unit, Trust, and other NHS providers. Contribute towards effective management and utilization of resources within the service area. Provide clinical advice for service users who present with challenging mental health needs, promoting and facilitating the positive health and wellbeing of people with learning disabilities, including direct work with service users, carers, colleagues, and other service providers.
