Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our team on a bank staff basis. As a Bank Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education to children, support the day-to-day running of the nursery, and ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

Support children’s learning and development through a range of engaging activities

Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere

Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed

Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals

Observe and assess children’s progress, and keep accurate records

Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent

Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the nursery

Commitment to continuous professional development

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
