After completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available nursing bank shifts to choose from. As a Nurse on our Bank, there is no minimum number of hours you’ll be required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to keep your knowledge and familiarity with the service at a good level.
Weekday, nights, and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps, you’ll have the nursing shifts secured that you want. There is the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the area. Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits.
What you will be doing
As a Bank Nurse, you will provide high-quality evidence-based support to service users in our care and work as part of the team, supporting colleagues and always putting the needs of service users first. Location : Cefn Carnau Lane, Thornhill, Caerphilly, South Wales, CF83 1LX You will be working at Cefn Carnau; a low secure/rehabilitation service for adults with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability who may also present with mental illness, personality disorders, and an autistic spectrum condition. The programmes provided at the service include a sex offender treatment programme, anger management, trauma therapy, art psychotherapy together with bespoke psychological sessions aimed at people with learning disabilities.
