Due to the expansion of our Clinical Trials service, we are looking for field-based, talented, registered nurses to deliver clinical trial visits in the patient’s home. Wren Healthcare focuses on clinical excellence, so joining us as a Bank Nurse will ensure that you are exposed to leading technologies and therapies. Some of the accountabilities for this role include: Accountable for the competent and confident delivery of high-quality clinical care in the home setting. Complete activities and tasks in accordance with clinical trial study protocol and training as delegated by the Principal Investigator. Accountable for reporting all activity, risks and issues in line with Wren Healthcare policies and procedures. Escalate to Line Manager, or appropriate referring clinician, any changes in patient's health and wellbeing, or information that requires reporting. Assist with ongoing education and training of patients and families. Communicate effectively, promoting open and trusting relationships. To communicate complex and sensitive information effectively to patients, carers and other professionals. Provide support during distressing or emotional events. Participate in surveys, audits and implementation of new clinical trials. Maintain confidentiality in line with all current legislation. Current clinical skills and competencies to include: Venepuncture Administration of IV medication Administration of sub-cut injections Cannulation (desirable but not essential) Centrifuge (desirable but not essential) This is a field-based role, so you must have your own vehicle, business car insurance and a full driving license.
