Main duties of the job To accept patients delegated by the physiotherapist and carry out assessment and treatment to agreed protocols/procedures. To treat patients individually or in a group in a variety of settings under the direct supervision or presence of a Physiotherapist. To undertake a variety of clerical duties as delegated by the line manager. To organise and manage a delegated caseload; obtain service data, analyse where appropriate and bring forward ideas for service development. Qualifications Qualifications and/or Knowledge Essential: An appreciation of the principles of physiotherapy practices and procedures. Good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English grade C or above. Technical qualification e.g. NVQ Level III or equivalent. Experience Essential: Previous experience of working in the care or leisure setting. Experience of working in a busy and varied workplace including dealing with the public. Aptitude and Abilities Skills Essential: Organisational and time management skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Commitment to personal development. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to reflect and appraise own performance. Personal Qualities Essential: Flexible. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
