Typical Responsibilities: Assist customers in overcoming barriers to lead fulfilling lives. Recognize customer strengths and support their aspirations. Utilize Positive Behavioural Support to promote independence and social inclusion. Monitor customers’ mental and physical health, implementing positive risk management. Engage with customers in activities related to their interests, such as music and gardening. Requirements: Experience in a Complex Care setting with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or willingness to obtain it. Flexibility to work at short notice. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in diverse teams. Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or behaviours of distress. Patient and adaptable approach to meet individual customer needs. Experience in positive risk management for safety and well-being. Team Structure: You will report to Deb, our Registered Manager, who has extensive experience in mental health and learning disabilities support. Job Details: Enhanced DBS check required (cost covered). Proficiency in technology for support plan updates and mandatory learning.
