Residential Care Worker (EBD Residential Children's Home) Location:

Bedford, Bedfordshire & Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Package: Salary: £12.50 – £13.59 p.a. Sleeping shifts are paid at £60 per night. Service Description: Small EBD Residential Children’s Home for children 11-17 years. Job Purpose: As a Residential Care Worker, you will work in a small, nurturing GOOD Ofsted-rated EBD Residential Children’s Home, providing care and support to children aged 11 to 17 years. You will be an integral part of creating a safe and homely environment where our residents can thrive. By fostering positive relationships and utilising your proactive approach, you will contribute to the well-being and growth of each individual in our care. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a compassionate team, making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people. If you have a genuine passion for working with young individuals, a nurturing attitude, and the desire to make a positive difference, we invite you to join us as a Residential Care Worker. Person Specification: Minimum Qualifications and Education: GCSE English or equivalent (Essential), Excellent written English, IT skills NVQ Level 4 or willingness to work towards this within 6 months of commencing employment Experience: Experience working within a childcare setting, experience with traumatised children and those with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
