Do you have previous retail experience and a creative eye for visual merchandising?
We are recruiting Bank Shop Managers to either work out of our Selby shops which are located on Ousegate and Gowthorpe Street or our other shops which are based around York.
As Bank Shop Manager, you will provide ad-hoc cover and manage all the day-to-day shop activities including:
Stock management
Cash handling
Merchandising
Customer service
Leading and managing colleagues and volunteers
Stamina and a good sense of humour are paramount, together with a creative eye, excellent display skills, and innovative ideas to boost shop takings. Basic administration and PC skills are essential.
For this role, previous management experience in a charity retail background would be desirable; however, we are happy to consider candidates from any background with management experience gained within a customer-facing organisation.
This is a bank position; therefore, shifts will be available on an ad hoc basis and will be to cover holiday/sickness within the team. Our Shop Managers work on a rota to cover 6 days out of 7, Monday to Saturday.
