The hospital has residential facilities for 56 patients as well as day care and outpatient services. We are currently seeking to recruit a Bank Staff Grade Ward Doctor to support our inpatient services to cover periods of annual leave, sickness or particularly busy periods. The post holder will work closely with our Consultant Psychiatrists and our large multi-disciplinary team and be committed to providing quality patient-focused care, comprehensive risk assessment and working to the highest standards. The successful candidate will possess an MBBS qualification or equivalent and will be required to maintain full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). The role holder will be able to demonstrate evidence of foundation training and competencies (or equivalent) including experience of working within the field of psychiatry. Experience of working within an acute setting and of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team is required. The role holder will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric treatment programme based on the recovery model. Qualifications

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification (essential) GMC registered with License to Practice (essential) Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment (desirable) Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management (desirable) Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrist MRCPsych or equivalent (desirable) Experience

Experience as a specialty doctor in inpatient Psychiatry or equivalent role in NHS or Private sector (desirable) Experience of Psychiatry at Core training level CT1 -3 or equivalent (desirable) Knowledge and experience of current issues in psychiatry and remaining up to date with current practices Knowledge and experience of clinical application of Mental Health Practices and Mental Health Act Awareness of key legislations and guidelines such as safeguarding, MHA, MCA, NICE guidelines About Us
