There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.
Weekdays, nights, and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps, you’ll have the nursing shifts at Lakefield Neurological Centre secured that you want.
Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking, and more.
What you will be doing:
As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you will provide care for people of all ages who are living with neurological and long-term conditions, including those living with physical disabilities and recovering from traumatic injuries, and provide a high level of personal and rehabilitative care.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank, you’ll be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Lakefields Neurological Centre will be a 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise their functional ability and improve their quality of life. The Centre specialises in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy, and ventilator care.
