Job description
We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Early Years to join our team as Bank/Temporary staff.
You'll be working hard to care for, support, share a story or two, and have fun to meet the needs of our children. You will be required to be flexible to cover shifts at short notice.
Responsibilities:
Promote high-quality standards within the nursery regarding the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children. Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children. Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development. Prepare and support children's activities. In the absence of the Team/Room Leader, maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment. Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meet the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. What we are looking for:
Unqualified, Level 2 or 3 Diploma for Childcare (or equivalent qualification). Previous experience in childcare or nursery settings. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Flexibility to work on short notice (opportunities for full-time work!). Contract Type: Temporary/Bank Staff (As Needed) Pay: £11:54 - £14:00 per hour
