Description Bank Sonographer | Oaklands Hospital | Bank Hours The role We currently have an exciting vacancy for a qualified and experienced Bank Sonographer to join the team at Oaklands Hospital. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional ultrasound service, ensuring clinical safety at all times together with high quality patient care. You will be responsible for conducting a wide range of ultrasound examinations and reporting on findings, providing crucial information for patient diagnosis and treatment. What you will bring with you HCPC Registration PGDip in Medical Ultrasound / DMU equivalent Significant experience working as a Sonographer, ideally within the NHS or a private sector Experience of working with Clinical Leads in specialist areas to develop services, and with a multi-disciplinary team Ability to independently perform, interpret and report general ultrasound examinations Manage your own workload, as well as that of your team, and be confident as a lone worker Sonographer Ability to assess and refer patients if further examinations/interventions are required What we give back to you Free DBS Contributory pension scheme Excellent training and development opportunities Free parking and subsidised staff restaurant (subject to site facilities)
