MCS Group is working with a national commercial and retail bank as they look for a skilled
Business Manager
within Banking to join their
Newry
location. This
new full-time, permanent
job opportunity would see the successful individual manage a business banking portfolio across Armagh and Down. This role would suit an experienced, business-development minded professional from a Banking or Debt Recovery working background. This role would only be on-site in Newry 2x days p/week. What your day would look like
Ensure lending proposals are effectively structured and proactively led ensuring maximisation of portfolio opportunities and acquisition of new business customers. Maintain a culture of excellence with regard to SME and property lending - structuring deals, risk analysis, monitoring and maximising opportunities. Maintain regular contact with key customers and intermediaries and represent the Bank at external events. Ensure completion of high quality credit applications and ensure acceptable credit/compliance standards met at all times. Proven ability to manage a portfolio of complex, high value SME and Property customers with borrowings in excess of £1m. Proven ability to develop new business and fund complex, high value lending transactions. Proven experience in credit management, regulatory and operational risk and consistent track record in maintaining high standards in these areas across a portfolio of complex, high value SME and Property customers.
