Working in the Banking Relationships team and reporting to the Head of Banking Relationship, this is a key role within the business. The foundation of the role is to support and manage our existing banking partners, as well as expand our banking network to increase our product offering across various territories. You will have a tangible impact on the growth and success of the firm.

What we look for in a suitable candidate: What You’ll Do Research, identify and explore new markets, payment rails, domestic schemes and banking providers to expand the Clear Junction coverage globally. Expansion of the banking network and third parties used by Clear Junction to underpin the company’s product offering. Support the Product and Banking Department to create, build and manage strong relationships with partner banks and payment schemes around the world. Negotiate favourable commercial and service terms with banking partners and third-party vendors. Act as the day-to-day escalation point for internal teams. Responsible for the completion of application forms and KYC reviews on Clear Junction to open and maintain accounts and demonstrate credibility. Collaborate with the IT Team to ensure efficient integration and readiness of new banking providers and payment rails. Work closely with other departments to track issues with providers and resolve them in a timely manner. Ensure alignment with partner banks’ risk appetite towards restricted business verticals and particular payment flows. Regularly attend suitable networking events to be up-to-date about ongoing changes in the wider industry, and identify new potential partner banks and vendors. Requirements Strong understanding of correspondent banking infrastructure. Proven experience in a similar capacity in the fintech/payments/banking/remittance space. Good knowledge of relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to work with cross-functional teams internally and externally will be a key success factor. Experience with domestic and cross-border payment systems (SEPA, FPS, CHAPS, SWIFT, ACH and other local market RTP schemes). Knowledge and experience in the digital asset space will be an added bonus. Previous experience with buying financial services. Commercial mindset and great attention to detail. Experience with customer due diligence, KYC and AML principles. Comfortable travelling to meet with partners and represent Clear Junction at industry events.
