Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of beverage preparation and service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere while providing exceptional service to our guests. Your role will involve not only mixing and serving drinks but also supervising and training junior staff, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries in a friendly manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise and assist in training new bartending staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked. Assist with food preparation when required, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, maintaining financial integrity throughout shifts. Experience Previous experience in a bartending role within a restaurant or hotel setting is essential. Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and food pairings is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage teams effectively while demonstrating leadership qualities. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Experience in supervising staff or managing small teams will be advantageous. A background in culinary arts or food preparation can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Job Type : Full-time Pay : £12.00-£13.00 per hour Expected hours : 30 – 40 per week Additional pay : Tips Benefits : Company pension Licence/Certification : Personal Licence (required) Work Location : In person
