ABOUT THE ROLE As a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health) at a Barchester care home, you'll use your compassion and initiative to ensure our residents receive the quality care they deserve. You'll plan, manage, and monitor the delivery of the highest quality nursing and mental health care. ABOUT YOU To join us as a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health), you'll be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with a current NMC registration. Experience in providing care for older people and those with dementia is important, along with a successful track record of well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments. An up-to-date knowledge of the most recent clinical practices and an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, is essential. You'll be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
